Vector drawing exercise

This is a vector drawing exercise. I did this to practice my drawing techniques in adobe illustrator and to get to grips with the software I would be using, I first used the pen tool and created straight lines for all of the straight parts of the text, Then I use the pen tool and instead of pointing and clicking (like i did with the straight lines) I held down the left mouse button to create a curved line. It took a few attempts to get the curved lines to how I wanted. I then filled in the lettering with different colours to create effect and afterwards I selected the lines and used the "dry ink 1" effect.
